GSX PRO Profile for LFPO by JetStream Design
Features
- Custom vehicle positions for every GSX vehicle on every stand (cargo aprons and cargo equipment included)
- Custom parking spot and marshaller and VDGS position on every stand
- Custom and correctly labelled pushbacks on every stand
- Custom Parking systems on every stand matching real life
- Custom Jetway rootfloor heights to avoid PAX clipping (check disclaimer)
- Accurate groud handling and catering operators
- Every stand tested with PMDG 738 and A320 (Heavy gates with A330)
!!!CAUTION!!! SU12 intruduced a bug that Jetways cannot be requestes via GSX at LFPO and some other airports. This has nothing to do with the profile (!) and there is an easy fix for that! -->Go to your content manager and search for VOLO in the search bar. 4 Items should now pop up. Select them and uninstall them! Restart your sim and you should be good to go. Alternatively, you can also request the Jetway via the in-game ATC menu. Boarding and Deboarding will commence as it should after the Jetway is docked.
Installation
Just drag and drop the .ini file into AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS
***Disclaimer***
PAX clipping can occur on some stands even though the jetway rootfloor height is configured correctly. The Jetways are to narrow at their last section, therefore, some tall GSX models might clip through. I spent 2 hours trying to mitigate this as best as I can. Furthermore, some stands are not in the AFCAD (check chart (screenshot)). These stands are just not included in the scenery and connot be selected at all (you can't even spwn on them).
Every stand was tested with a full deboarding run to make sure GSX vehicles don’t collide (go through) static scenery objects. As with all my profiles, this is not always completely avoidable. There is nothing I can do to avoid GSX vehicles colliding with each other, unfortunately, but I spent hours to try and get around that.
It took me about 40 hours ( yes... 40 HOURS) to make this profile so if you really enjoy this profile, you can show your appreciation by leaving a like, a nice rating, or if feel really generous, a donation via the PayPal link. None of this is, of course, a necessity and you using my profile is already more than I could ever ask for. Thank you!
If you have any issues or feedback feel free to drop a comment or join our GSX Community Discord where we have a team of community members dedicated to helping you to the best of our ability
Thank you for your great work.
I'm not sure why you ask to manually remove the older profile before updating since it's only one file. This is technically not required as we can simply drag and drop and replace when prompt.

Yes, if the file names are the same you can of course do that. But it is generally good practice to avoid duplicate profiles if something goes wrong :) I‘ve had a couple if instances in the past (don‘t ask me why) where ppl ended up with 2 profiles for one airport in the same folder with the filenames being the same (and don‘t ask how that‘s even possible, I don‘t know either😅) that is why I now mention it for not so well versed PC users. (You cannot imagine the skill level of some ppl. Sometimes you have to ask yourself how they even manage to turn on their PC…)

All of your profiles are really, REALLY good! Well done with all your efforts and hours of making sure every little detail is where it should be.
♦ And thank you very much for the "search and delete VOLO" tip.

My pleasure. Thanks for the kind words!
Yeah the volocopter thigk took us (reverentan) a while to figure out. Unfortunately, we still have to find workarounds for MSFS bugs as they keep appearing for no reason after each update haha.

Hello and thank you for your great work!
Just one question:
Should you complete your .ini file with an afcad_path = \
Thanks for your help!

Thanks.
No, the AFCAD path is absolutely irrelevant since SU12 and GSX does not use this anymore. The AFCAD path thing stems from back when GSX released and had no Navdata API to work with. Since SU12, it uses this API by default and completely ignores BGL files.

This is a great Profile, however, why are there so many floating VGDS dockers?
Hello,
first of all thanks for the ating and the kind words.
I can't tell you why there are "some" floating VDGSes. This is obviously not intentional and shouldn't be the case. I tested every stand, placed every VDGS by hand, and therefore I highly doubt that there is something wrong with the profile. It would help if you could provide the stands where the VDGS is floating so I can check it for myself.
There are some stands that use the ground pole VDGS and are not mounted against the VDGS scaffolding of the scenery. GSX doesn't render those poles until you get really close to save performance. I know this looks weird, but there is nothing we can do about that. So, it would really help if you could tell me the affected stands, and if you see a floating VDGS move closer (really close) to check if it is indeed floating or if the ground pole has not loaded.
Best,
Michael.

Thank you. Reactions like those is what keeps us going and motivates us to provide these profiles to you for free.
Yeah I am a perfectionist haha. Went over every stand 2-3 times with defferent aircraft types to make sure they work as intended. I also completed boarding animations on every stand to make sure nothing collides.
