This is a repaint for the Boeing PT-17 Stearman by DC Designs. This repaint depicts the Stearman owned by the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA.
Registered as N41EE, S/N 75-2743, this Stearman was built in 1941 as a PT-17 and served until 1945. After being sold to the civilian market it was converted to a crop duster before being restored to original condition as a US Navy N2S-3 Stearman in the 1990s. In 1997 it was purchased by Jerry Yagen and eventually became one of the first aircraft to be part of the Military Aviation Museum when it opened to the public in 2008. The aircraft continues to fly during the airshow season and offers rides to paying customers on the weekends.
