This is the first Bush Trip that I made using BushTripInjector and after making some more exotic trips I chose to make a bush trip about the Rocky Mountains, celebrating the new World Update 10. It's not just the US part, but also the Canadian Rockies plus some bonus legs along the deserts and canyons south of the Rocky Mountains. There are also some other trips in the Rockies available here on flightsim.to like the ones from Koschi or Pumbavu03 that I can recommend too, so I tried to make a route that barely touches the routes of the other bush trips. This journey will take you from Alberta and British Columbia to the US States of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and finally Nevada with Las Vegas as the finish line. The route will show you the most interesting places in the Rocky Mountains, from vast National Parks and scenic valleys to urban centers like Salt Lake City.
Places you will visit on this Bushtrip among others:
- Jasper National Park, the largest National Park in the Candian Rockies
- Famous historic mining towns like Butte, MT or Silverton, CO
- Yellowstone National Park & Grand Teton National Park
- Aspen, the famous skiing center of Colorado
- Utahs Canyonlands National Park
- Monument Valley
- Grand Canyon
- River runs of the Columbia River, Snake River, Colorado River, San Juan River etc..
Flight Length: 4171km
Flight Duration: 11:41h
Number of legs: 22
You will fly in a Cessna C208 Grand Caravan, the perfect aircraft for this route as we have to climb to high altitudes at many points. Welcome aboard!! If you want to change the aircraft you can do it via the developer mode -> Windows -> Aircraft Selector
You will also be able to change the time & weather via the default toolbar.
For the perfect experience I highly recommend some scenery and improvement mods:
FREEWARE:
- Bozeman Yellowstone Intl. Airport by DWPstudios
- Yellowstone Park Landscape & Camping by Gaiiden
- Teton Range Landscape & Camping by Gaiiden
- Jackson Hole Regional Airport by Odogthedog
- Arches National Park Photogrammetry by georender
INSTALLATION: Just download the .rar file, unzip it and drag and drop it into your MSFS community folder. You will then find the Bush Trip in the Activities -> Custom Content menu. Everything works just like the default bush trips.
A big thank you to the guys from BushTripInjector and Little Navmap for the easy way to create bush trips without having to be a coding genius by myself :)
Wonderful, thank you!

Quick question if I may.. Just noticed I don't seem to be using any fuel . No problem . just wondering why
2 years ago
Yes you are right. I decided to go with the unlimited fuel option because I had many people in the comments of my projects wondering why they fall out of the sky all of a sudden because they forgot to refuel. Maybe I will change this back to default on my next trip and instead write a disclaimer in the description.

Memories... Leg 2 . Yes been to Golden also. Remember the highway just east of town goes beside a big cliff . Just as I'm driving beside this cliff a couple of big rocks break away . Hit the ground about 3 feet from my car.
