| This patch will remove static aircraft at LatinVFR KSAN San Diego International Airport, which does not offer an option to not install them.
Unfortunately, stands and gates previously occupied by static aircraft will not be selectable for departures, as there is no parking information for the simulator.
Installation:
- Copy the folder inside ZIP file into your community folder
Notes:
- This is not an official patch from LatinVFR. Therefore, there is no support from LatinVFR for issues involving this patch;
- No files / models from the original LatinVFR scenery (or any other package) were modified

ok this is working now. i had to rename it zzz-kan-static etc etc so that the NON marketplace LVFR could read it . i have one question, why are the gates all messed up number wise by ATC? after i land, atc tells me to park at Gate 1000 or Gate A99 or Gate 999. without this addon the gate numbers from ATC return back to normal.

Nice to hear that it is working now! About your question concerning ATC gates, it does not make sense because the removal of static aircrafts do not use any type of AFCAD tool. Aren't you using any other addon for KSAN such as "Airport Parking" by b757?

i dont use airport parking. i just use LVFR ksan. very weird. i landed few hours ago and atc told me to park at Gate 1000.

edit: solution found. the problem is lvfr ksan. they numbered those gates those numbers. for instance gate 1000 is supposed to be gate 1A. its on LVFR to fix . thanks

no, all my airports are on serperate drive from where msfs is located. i use Addon linker. i use other static removals from flightsim.to and they are all installed on separate drive and installed into community folder using addon linker and all work except this one.

if yours is a marketplace lvfr ksan, i think that may be the problem. there is something goin on with marketplace and non marketplace airports being modified

For the patch to work, it must be loaded after LatinVFR KSAN.
When purchased from MSFS Marketplace, the sim installs LatinVFR KSAN in the Official folder. When purchased outside MSFS Marketplace, it is installed in the Community Folder. When MSFS starts, it loads items in the Official folder before anything in the Community folder. This is why the addon is working correctly for those that have purchased from Marketplace.
All you have to do is rename "airport-ksan-remove-static-aircrafts" patch folder to make it be loaded alphabetically after "lvfr-ksan" folder. For example, "zzzz-ksan-remove-static-aircrafts".
Try doing this and tell me if it worked, ok?

ok, renaming it works. statics gone. but another problem developed. atc now says park at gate 1000 or gate A99 or gate 999. think it screwed somthing up with afcad. if this is removed atc says the correct gate numbers

Of course you can request! FlyTampa KLAS will be the next! Do you think Las Vegas Sands 747s, untitled 737s and private jets static aircrafts should be removed too? They are already included in AIG Flightplans...

i say yes. remove the 747 las vegas sands. remove the 737's and private jets and definitely remove the ups 757's at the cargo area and most importantly remove the allegiant md80's, thanks

Yes I say remove them all. What this developer doesn't understand is that these statics quickly become obsolete thus making it highly unrealistic! Thanks again!
