This folder contains a repaint for the de Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth by Ant's Airplanes for MFS. It shows Tiger Moth G-ANSX. Originally T7151 with the RAF, it became G-ANSX in 1954. It flew between 1956 and 1958 with the Merseyside & North Wales Flying Club in the colors depicted here. In 1958 it was damaged in a landing accident, rebuilt and sold to the Netherlands, where it became PH-NIS at Eelde airfield. In 1967, it went to Tugair and was based in Hilversum. It crashed and burned during an attempted banner pickup at Hilversum in 1958. Repaint by JanKees.

Hi Jankees, Erik here...first of all let me appologise for getting your name wrong. Being a Liverpoolian we in the north west tend to shorten peoples names as form of friend ship, sorry if I offended.. Many thanks for the brilliant paint job you did on G-ANSX. Just did a quick flight out of Liverpool airport, Very emotional, It took me right back to 1958, Also thank for the extra information about G-ANSX. Very sad to here about the end of that lovelly aircraft. Again very many thanks. I will keep you in mind if I require any more jobs.
Yery best regards, Keep safe, Erik
