This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed P-38L Lightning by Flying Iron. It shows F-5B-1-LO 42-68223 of the French Groupe de Reconnaissance GR II/33. This was the aircraft flown by Antoine de Saint-Exupery when he disappeared on 31 July 1944 off the coast of Corsica. Note that the real aircraft was an unarmed photo reconnaissance version of the P-38, the F-5. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the textures by Flying Iron.

One minor correction needed to reach the full 5 stars : the French flag is mirrored on the Right tail. It should be reversed (Blue - White - Red and not the opposite).

After downloading and standard installing, you can choice the new livery but fs2020 stoppes at 60% before playing !?!
None problem with another standard texture.

I know it's a little bit late; to fix this you can edit the corresponding texture with paint.net and save it again in .DDS format.

I have the weird problem that with this Livery the left engine always goes out and can not be started! How can this be?

I have no idea, it's just a paintjob? And it works just fine on my end...maybe restart the sim or the computer? It's microsoft after all...
