This adds a basic autopilot to the Microsoft Local Legends DHC-4 Caribou. You will either need to know the keyboard binds, have a control panel (like the paid PMS50 GTN750), or a hardware device to control the autopilot. There is no included control panel.

Can you elaborate? As far as I know there is nothing to "update"?

Excellent! Much needed, I love realism as much as the next Simmer but since no AP IRL and Copilot has suicidal tendences sometimes even as as basic Hold AP its useful and can simulate a copilot but mod allows use of other AP functions as well if needed great with the Bravo Throttle.

Thanks for adding the autopilot feature. I've noticed a couple of issues with my flights. First, the plane seems less aggressive than other planes in holding the desired heading. Second, When I enter a waypoint, such as KXNX, the GPS430 will show the waypoint info, but when I select the waypoint, the GPS430 won't show the heading, distance, etc from my current position. Third, when i click my mouse on the CDI button of the GPS430, it won't change from GPS to VLOC. Are these issues that can be resolved? Thanks.

I've been using this on the caribou and today after clearing the rolling cash it still works with the key Bindings that I have been using as far as holding a heading but it isn't holding the rate of climb like it did in previous days?

I think I found that either this autopilot doesn't work with the flaps down or stops working when you manipulate the flaps and that may only be limited to rate of climb I..... need to do more testing.. it may still hold the heading even if you manipulate the flaps but it actually makes sense because you normally wouldn't be using autopilot or wouldn't want it activated on Final Approach or right after takeoff

If you could create a basic ALT HLD & HDG HLD AP for the new AN-2, it would be appreciated.

Very cool, the Caribou became my favorite aircraft now. But i'm trying to add an autopilot to the An-2, can you provide a tutorial on how you did this?

I'ts possible do the same with Caproni c-22j i willing to pay

I actually played around with it this afternoon. It's not possible to add more than and climb/descend mode (VS/FLC), heading/track hold, and autopilot vloc mode, due to how the author of the plane coded the gauges in the cockpit it's not possible to add GPS guidance however.

I simply set a command to start and stop the autopilot, two other ones to start and stop HDG and APPR modes and I've got a basic AP. that's funny how it swings. About altitude settings it's a bit more difficult.
